Smile Pre-Med Worries....Help Appreciated!!!

Hi, My name is Brad and i am currently a Pre-Med/Biology Major at University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a current G.P.A. of 2.927. Currently i am a Sophomore ans was hoping to get my grades up, but i am having a rough semester so far. I am married with a kid on the way and recently they are putting me into sleep-studies to test me for sleep apnea. I was wondering if Medical School Admissions committee's would be understanding when it came to a low performance for a couple of semesters due to medical conditions. I also have a form of muscular dystrophy that may aggravate the condition. Any feedback or criticism is well taken and appreciated!

thanks
