Is medical school worth going through all that work, blood and sweat?

i really wanna be a doctor but i don't know if its going to wear me out mentally and physically. im also scared of failing or of not liking what i do half way through my education (cuz its a long and expensive process) or regretting it after i graduate.

note: i didnt choose this profession for the salary ,i chose it because i want to care for people and i love studying about the wonders of the human body.

Probably not. My sister is an MD and her advice to me when she was in Med school was, "If you can possibly imagine doing anything else in the world and enjoying it, DON'T GO to Med School!" Of course I applied last year and will probably be applying again in a year or so when I'm 1/2 through my Public Health School degree.

I am not sure if it is worth going to medical school, I work in the medical profession and I personally went to school for Accounting. Ever since I moved out to Sacto my plans were to get an accounting position, (paid lots of $$$$$ to get this education) but now I have a fantastic job in the medical field. (My suggestion is to go to school for accounting and you will end up in a medical position or something else that you weren't expecting. But if you would like to be a doctor or more I would suggest that you do go to medical school. don't waste your time unless you want to be the Doctor.
