Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, absolutely no question. Specifically for neurosurgery, Harvey Cushing left Harvard and invented neurosurgery under Halsted (godfather of American surgery) at Hopkins and it remains the #2 neurosurgical center (#1 is Mayo, Harvard is #4) and the #1 pediatric neurosurgical center (lead by the Freedom Medal winner Dr. Ben Carson of "Gifted Hands") with the neuroscience department trading places with Harvard between #1 and #2 regularly.

Hopkins:

- #1 Medical Center in the US for 18 years (US News Best Hospitals).

- #1 NIH Grant Receiving Medical School (NIH Website).

- #1 Reputation Score (tied with Harvard Medical School) (US News Best Grad Schools).

A new series, Hopkins, was recently aired. However, with close to 5-6 years filming in the hospital total over the years, there will be a hiatus filled by lesser known hospitals. Other popular references are limitless, including Dr. House, the movies "Getting In," "Something The Lord Made," and "Gifted Hands."

The Terminator franchise is what got me interested in the movies in the first place. The first was a suspenseful cyberpunk thriller, and the second became my favorite movie of all time. The third fell short of intelligence but still solid nonetheless, and the TV series was a good addition to the franchise. Nearing the end of May, the fourth and latest film addition of the beloved sci-fi franchise will open, and viewers are in for a sheer summer spectacle.
